I think this is the first time I am sharing something from the D70. Please let me know what you think of these - all suggestions gladly accepted. All taken with the 70-300 Sigma APO Super II. (BTW - is there an easier way to share these from my smugmug account than copying each URL into the message composition box?)

This one was kinda funky just because I had never noticed the kind of ruffled feathers that the geese developed as they landed.

hi Harry - good to see you again (this is gk08 from STF). Its different and I am still getting used to it. I love the bokeh with my primes, being able to ratchet the ISO up to 1600 with no fear and the 70-300 Sigma I have on right now is very interesting too with the longer reach and the 300mm macro. Sometimes I do miss the grab and go versatility, EVF and swivel of the of the 828 though... find myself chimping a lot - still a little torn but life is choices right :)?

I do love the feel of the D70 though. I was going to buy the XT but fortunately I tried it out and it was WAY too small for my hands - uncomfortable actually and I couldnt afford the 20D. The D70 felt right and at the same time I lucked into a nice array of Nikon lenses very cheap so my decision was made for me :). the lack of ISO tag and Nikons proprietary tendencies are a little aggravating but overall I'm pretty happy!
