...well, the shooting part is fine, it's the post processing that'll kill me!

first, i started with some very simple LAB curves, i wanted to show rutt how much i'm learning from his LAB color reading group (http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=18203) :lol3

all kidding aside, we had a good time, it was cool to meet rutt in person, talk photography, and do some shooting. and i'm looking forward to having more time to shoot in the future :deal

I love your curves, Andy!

Also a good photo of Rutt! I know you followed the rules with the cut off of the arms, hands, etc. Still wish he had a hand to grab that nice camera with if it should fall, or at least take a photo with should the occasion arise.

So, Andy, are you going to start with the LAB curves?

thanks so much, ginger :D i really enjoyed meeting and talking with rutt. lab curves? i'm playing along, i really think that what rutt's doing is wonderful, he's got a good way of taking a complex subject and making it understandable.

Great portrait, Andy. Will you be posting some of those images you took in the library? Would love to see them once you get the PP done.
