NEF images in Windows screensaver ?

Is it possible to show Nef pictures in the Windows sreensaver dia show?

Why not just convert them to jpeg first with Nikon's ViewNX 2?

browse to folder in ViewNX 2 -> Control+A (to select all) -> Control+E (Convert Files)

That was not a option. I use Lightroom, so converting is not the problem. Maybe i make some kind off "BEST OFF" and convert them to JPEG.

Short answer...no....NEF is raw and only the different raw converters allow you to look at the raws...so no slide show or screensaver that I know of will allow you to "see" the nef raw files...they MUST be converted to jpg or other usable (by the program) file type..........I know that is not one of the options given......but it is the ONLY option there is, that I know of......
