Rolled over the hill for the afternoon. Man, what a kooky day today.
You surfers will know what I mean...

Here are a few more from today.

A lot of the ho-daddies were being asked to leave :evil

I was a great way to spend the day. Went over on the bike and then ate a
big phat breakfast for dinner at the Santa Cruz Diner (at least I think that's
what it was called). I need to troll a bit farther down the coast. Maybe even
central CA...

agreed; most surf shots are done "from the beach," so this different perspective is refreshing. Mind telling a little more detail about where you were (so us poor land-locked slobs can drool http://dgrin.com/images/smilies/rolleyes1.gif ) ?

I shoot from the cliff above the the lane. There's a huge parking lot, the lighthouse
and a billion tourists :)

Steamers Lane is located in Santa Cruz, California. Pretty nice place to hang out
for the afternoon. You can even wander over to the Boardwalk.

Though this view is a little tough from the lane...

thanks. that's here (http://maps.google.com/maps?q=steamer%27s+lane,+santa+cruz,+ca&ll=36.961449,-122.017550&spn=0.017200,0.032942&num=10&start=0&hl=en) right?

(so us poor land-locked slobs can drool :rolleyes ) though if these hurricanes keep up, perhaps Atlanta won't be land-locked too much longer!

Right at Lighthouse State Beach. The Boardwalk is just off of Beach Street.
