Sunday, 9/18
I had the distinct pleasure of meeting up with Jeff and Ben for a morning of shooting out at Bolsa Chica Wetlands and Nature Preserve in Huntington Beach, CA.
A good time was had by all, even if the shooting wasn't all that great, well at least for me who couldn't compete with all the big glass that was flying around. My poor little Sigma 70-200 just couldn't compete.
Of course anyone who knows California knows that 7AM on any September morning is going to yield nothing but grey; Grey sky, grey land, grey water, grey animals... are you getting the picture here? GREY!!!
I did my best and held my own with the pictures I knew fell within my range. I have quite a few to process before I can post but I thought I'd whet your appetite with this one I caught of Jeff as he spotted he favorite form of wildlife.

Hey Angelo,
You got some nice shots there. You did quite well considering your reach was only 200mm and your male models for the first and last shots were not top shelf material. :rofl
The last shot is prime. :thumb

Thanks Hummer. I was lucky to have caught that. Just some very minor contrast adjustment in post... I'm quite happy with it. Thanks for looking.
