Picasa3 Issue

Has anyone had any issues with Picasa3? It has stopped running. I double click on the icon and I get the splash start-up image for about a tenth of a sec. and that is it. Have tried going back to a earlier restore point on my Win 7 PC but that didn't help.

Since support is a joke with just about everything Google, Picasa3 is no different. So I'm going to look for something to replace it,:flush any suggestions, something free or close just to view and catalog images and minor post processing?

I haven't used Picasa in a while. But be careful removing it, because you can easily get rid of your photos while doing so.
