i also have a sony r-1 on order, that's my next conversion mod happening with maxmax (www.maxmax.com) - dan and i have been talking - it looks like a winner. my reasons: sealed body, large sensor (aps!), excellent noise performance, 24mm on the wide end, and super zeiss glass. so, while i'll be getting the camera in non-infrared season here in new york (probably november) i'm really looking forward to that one, too :D


oh and since you're keeping score... i just re-bought the carl zeiss 21mm f/2.8 lens.... :rolleyes

This doesn't seem right. This whole day is confusing me something awful. I'm buying a 20D, andy only has one dslr, and he is rebuying zeiss AGAIN. I need a nap. On the bright side I made $400 profit off the cheerleader shoot tonight. For 4 hours of work (total after photoshop) thats not too bad. Hence my 20D purchase.

Possibly when I'm done editing them. One or two of the good ones might get shown. Keep in mind thought these were middle school cheerleaders. Most exciting part of the night was getting the money to buy the 20D.
