I like the effect :thumb :thumb

I think it would be awesome if you could get a background like this shot has with some part (not the legs or arms) of the ball carrier in focus :dunno Maybe a stop faster on the speed?

It's very kewl though :clap It definitely conveys a sense of motion.

Or pan a bit faster. This is a cool shot. Very nice effect.

thanks guys. definately need more practice to get the pan smoother, and you're right a little faster on the shutter would probably help too.
