Walked the dog and camera yesterday evening and was just blown away by the beautiful early evening light which made everything seem magical. I don't know whether this is what Andy means by "the quality of light", but the light seemed to have a lot of quality at about 6:30 pm yesterday around here. When I dug through them afterward, I ended up keeping most of them, something that happens very rarely to me.

Oh, and one more:

Ilove number 9.. and my other favs in order are 11-10-3-4. I love all the things that are happening in 9 and the light in all the others. I love marinas and boats, and I think you are right.. the air is different out there on the Island. We used to boat out there until I had to battle 8ft seas and lost my nerve...:D

Love the tilt in this one, and the lighting of course. The American flag, bathed in light but covered by trees (bushes?) is symbolic.

Love this one too. It's funny how we walk by scenes like this every day without realizing their artistic merit. I like it a lot.
