This was definitely one of those 'right place, right time' shots, I was out and about trying to capture some pics of a new birds we had seen, andso I was set up where I could see where it had been before, and was waiting patiently, when this little guy just pops up out of his/her den and start snufflig around. Didn't seem to upset that I was so close to its entrance (so long as I kept relatively quiet and still, and let me take about 10 pics, of which this one is my favorite
