Macro bug season is coming to an end here in the UK, so I thought I get some whilst the going was good. I thought this was an interesting mix of "styles".

Wasn't me!

Nice work LV. The last is my favorite. Thanks Thomas- I only recently found out that small insects use spiders webs to hang about on (on purpose) apparently they are too small for the spider to bother with.

Brian V. Follow the swallows!

I got the lens back last Saturday. They repaired it, rather than replacing it and I've taken well over 250 pics since then (just to check that it works of course:wink ). It *really* is an amazing lens - thanks for making me consider it. Am adding what I regard as the better pics to smugmug (http://bigal-sa.smugmug.com/gallery/762191) on a daily basis.
