Unfortunately, the zoo had them in a cage where chicken wire was all around. But, I'm still pleased with the shot:

Actually it's pretty good
the wire behind him and his look kinda makes me think of the fight for Freedom !! :thumb

Thanks!! It was really tough focussing with the "bars" in front of him... but, I managed to get this one in.

I am really loving my 70-200 f/4 lens :)

Nice shot ...I got one at the Indy zoo but the wire was 10 feet away from me and I couldn't shoot thru the gaps, I just had to clone it out

Hey Toine,

Thats a good shot. Its not easy to shoot in a zoo. I'm lucky because we have them in the wild down here.

Supposedly, there are some Bald Eagles in New Jersey too, I just have to find out where. And, I think my measly 70-200 f/4 lens is not going to be enough in the wild :(
