I think I like the first one better, but maybe cropped tighter on the left and right side.

lol...I did...because once it's changed in my gallery, it's automatically changed in this threat (because the picture in the threat just links to the gallery - it's not static).

Anyway...can't you see the difference?

Hi Ryan,

Of the two, I like the second one, mostly because I find the background a bit distracting in the first, and I like the more unique compositional framing in the second. For my tastes, I like a bit less depth of field, even to the point that the entire lily isn't fully in focus. I think it accentuates the flower's delicate texture.

Try a some softer light as well (even shading it with a white piece of sheet can help in the bright sun).

I tried a slightly diff crop , sharpened the stamens and burned the edges all to try and direct the eye
