I have moved to windows 7 x64 from my 32 bit windows XP. I am having a problem with my Pantone Huey (not pro) giving an error that the sensor is not found when starting. Windows is saying that it is a USB input device. Anyone have any Ideas? :dunno

Yes, latest software from Pantone's website. Tried it 3 times just to make sure.

"the most likely culprit is the onboard USB card lacking sufficient power to drive the PANTONE huey/hueyPRO device. This issue is common in Dell computers where X-Rite has documented a number of cases, although Dell denies there is any issue. Should this be the case, use of a separately-powered USB hub will usually resolve the issue."

make sure it is at least USB 2.0 and not a USB 1 external hub........

I had a very similar problem with Spyder 2 Pro and solved it with a driver download from the Datacolor...be it an XP/Vista 64 bit driver, it still worked.

The biggest problem upgrading to Win 7, 64 bit, is finding work arounds for older software.
