I can't seem to get HD video from my 7D to play smoothly on Smugmug. They play very jerky. I have a newer computer with 6 gigs of ram & quad core processor, & IE8.
I have the same problem playing Animoto video slide shows on Smugmug even tho they play smoothly on my system & on other sites including Facebook. I am using a cable connection also. I read that there may be a problem with my domain name but that was meant mainly for people who couldn't get their videos to play past a certain point, period. My problem is the jerky playback.

Try playing "The Storm" or "Glass in the Garden", both of which were posted far apart and are very different in size. "Glass" used to play but now seems to have inherited the same problem as the newer videos.
Any suggestions? Thanks for your attention.
