So, I shot a pano this weekend an murdered it because of two things:
1. The camera was level, but the tripod was not, panning the camera caused a wavy horizon (I had a pocket level from the hw store, but it just didn't cut it).
2. Forgot to manual white balance, Doh!
Anyhow, I am now trying to find affordable options for the following things:
1. A bubble level for the tripod (between head and tripod). I've thought about the Manfrotto 3502, but can't decide if its overkill.
2. A plate where I can mount the camera to the tripod so that the axis of rotation is the lens, not the camera body.
TIA
