I thought your a Canon man??

I don't picture you outside your "Brand" or with a Prosumer camera.
Gimme the skinny. What did ya like about it?

About this camera....where do you keep the contrast and sharp settings?
Many times my pics look outta wack. :dunno

BTW: Amazing pics you have taken with the 828!
I need some pointers to properly make this beast work for ME! :):

typical in-camera settings for jpgs:

color = real
contrast = low
sharpness = lowest

i preferred to do contrast and sharpness in photoshop.

the 828 is an extremely capable camera, high quality optics, exccellent zoom range, very well-built, wonderful image quality.

i used the smalled af mode - sometimes using the joystick to move my af point to where i needed it.

never ever used digital zoom

i forget about expanded focus, sorry :scratch

Digital zoom says Smart or Precision
