Hi all,
I am looking to replace my laptop with is a Dell Inspiron I6400. It has a T2300 processor running at 1.66GHz., 2G of ram and an ATI Mobility Radeon X1400.
I run Photoshop CS3 and Lightroom 3.0 on this laptop and while it is not a speed demon by any means, but it works ok. My daughter needs a computer and I am thinking about giving her the Dell and getting another laptop.
I am looking at this one, Amazon.com: ASUS A52F-X3 15.6-Inch Laptop (Black): Computer & Accessories (http://www.amazon.com/ASUS-A52F-X3-15-6-Inch-Laptop-Black/dp/B003UN6YUE/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top)
<table class="tborder" style="margin: 10px 0pt;" cellpadding="6" cellspacing="1" width="425"> <thead> <tr> <td class="tcat" colspan="2" style="text-align: center;"> Amazon.com: ASUS A52F-X3 15.6-Inch Laptop (Black): Computer & Accessories (http://www.amazon.com/ASUS-A52F-X3-15-6-Inch-Laptop-Black/dp/B003UN6YUE/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top) </td> </tr> </thead> <tbody> <tr> <td class="panelsurround" align="center"> http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41iDo0HDhbL._SL175_.jpg (http://www.amazon.com/ASUS-A52F-X3-15-6-Inch-Laptop-Black/dp/B003UN6YUE/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top?tag=citofgamonlco-20)

Again, it is no speed demon, but is much newer and faster than my old one. My only real concern is the lack of a dedicated graphics card.
I really cannot afford anymore than this, so I am just wondering what your thoughts may be.
Thanks, Ron
