Hello Folks,
This week Robert and I put together a basic tutorial on creating optical illusion with forced perspective. (http://www.learnmyshot.com/Forced-Perspective-Technique-for-Still-Life-Photography)
This technique was cutting edge in the late 80's among advertising photographers. But I wasn't able to find much photography samples on the internet. Seems like pre-digital stuff gets lost.

Has anyone tried this technique before? Can you post some samples?
Have you seen anyone working in this style- can you link to the site?

See our tutorial (http://www.learnmyshot.com/Forced-Perspective-Technique-for-Still-Life-Photography) and let us know what you think. And if you find it interesting please give it a try and share your own shots.

Cheers!
Sasha

I thought I saw an eye doctor while I was in Alaska, but it turned out just to be an optical Aleutian.......

This is a great link with 35 instances of altered perspective images - some are pretty cool, too. (http://www.drweb.de/magazin/35-splendid-examples-of-forced-perspective-photography/) The text is in German.
