Just figured this one out, maybe you know about it already or maybe it's isolated to me:
If I add a slideshow to my homepage via the built-in tools, and a site-wide password is in place, guest viewers will get the "This gallery requires a password" even though there is no password set on the gallery. Obviously in this scenario, the guests have already entered the site-wide password. 'Owner view' shows the slideshow just fine.
As soon as I remove the site-wide password, everything works fine.
I thought it was intermittent yesterday (can't clearly recall, too much back and forth on other things, too), but I can repro 100% today.
Site is www.thefarnys.com (http://www.thefarnys.com). (Mods, if you need password, please send mail).
Thanks,
