It is always tantalising waiting for a new picture of yours to open.
Two very characterful takes on a shot.
Number 2 would be completely timeless if the top of the plactic bottles were hidden.
I prefer the composition of the second; with the seller's interaction with the 'wife'.
The processing of the shot gives it a timeless quality.
IMHO loose the bottles, keep the 'wife'

Hi Yuri,
I agree: #2 holds more appeal for me because of the wife. Thanks for sharing.

I like the second shot, but the sky looks a little hot and is distracting. The balance of the two people really make it more interesting than the first.

Hey Yuri!
I think it's number 2 for me too... The balance in composition is just beautiful!
Thanks so much for sharing!
Take care!

I like both, but #2 is by far my favourite! I find the "something is cloned out"-area (proabably parts of the ol' woman) on the bottom right of #1 quite distracting. That's were my eye is instantly drawn. Use of a little to soft brush, repetitive paterns and the mismatched DOF (doesn't correspond to the rest of the image) gave it away. :wink Also, I find the blue spots next to his zipper and the bottles a little distracing. Otherwise, as usuall, great images!
Oh boy, was I nitpicky tonight or what! *Haha* :rofl

I agree with Stan... cloning out the plastic bottles will only enhance these pictures. :thumb

I had not noticed the hands position in the first shot. With the wife in the shot, this would be good with the same post process as the second.

Yuri,
Did you remove her from the first shot is PhotoShop? I see what looks like her shadow between the buckets and I see some repeating elements on the right and a slight blurriness in the lower right.
I also like the man's hands of the first shot with the interaction of the woman in the second shot. I also agree that the bottles are a bit distracting, especially in the color photo. I think the color photo is very appealing otherwise.
Theye are both great photos and the composition, lighting and timing are impeccable.

I prefer the second - has that classic timeless quality, and the sepia adds to the grit of life.
