Video quality

I have uploaded my first video to smugmug. I created a slideshow from Lightroom 3, exported it as 720 to an mp4 format. After I upload it to a smugmug gallery, I watch the video and the images look really poor. Very grainy and unattractive. Is there something I should be doing in the creation process prior to uploading that will help the video playback quality?

[Maybe something with the original image size when exported? Maybe?

Our video service is really optimized for motion picture videos and not still slideshows. Since all uploaded videos are compressed with that in mind, you will seem some quality loss if your video contains stills and or graphics. We recommend that you use our built in slideshow feature if still image quality is of the utmost importance to you.
