Hi gang . . .

It has been a busy summer for us. Our son just got married a few weeks ago. I was asked to take the pictures. So, with my Pentax *ist DS in hand I tried my best. Took over over 450 pics. Will likely post about 70 to 80 in total.

Now I am trying to decide what the best work flow would be to post them on my smugmug site. Don't want them to be too big. Thinking of resizing them to 800 max height and 600 max wide. Still trying to decide on the compression as well to keep the size down. Probably 90% or 85% max . . .

Anyway, here is one of my favorite ones. This one was one of the final pics I took for the photo shot session. It was very hot and the kids were tired . . . so they took a break in the cooler shade . . .

Take care . . .

Peter
p.s. - any tips on a good work flow would be much appreciated :):

I really like this shot - I like the lighting, the setting, the pose (a wee bit more profile of faces would have maybe added something). I love her dress!!! I like that her head piece is over her shoulder and the symmetry of his jacket over his shoulder.

I can't help you with work flow, sorry.

Good job - a big task for father of the groom!

Work from copies. Save the originals separately from your working copies.

No extra advice, sorry.

Good job - a big task for father of the groom! Thanks Ann. It was a lot of running around. Hard to sit still and enjoy each moment. But it was really nice going through all the pictures.

Work from copies. Save the originals separately from your working copies. Always . . . thx Ian :):
