Hello all.
I want to know from you who have buy from BH and live in Toronto, or other places in Canada, how much is customs and shipping?
I live in Mexico, but next week (from sept 2 - 9) i will be in Toronto and want to buy a 20D from B&H since is the one of the best prices I have see on the internet.
Also beachcamera has a good price, but they doesn't accept international orders.
What do you recommend me?

You pay sales taxes of 15%, plus a fee of around $30 for the customs work.
In addition, I **strongly** suggest you use Fedex 2-day or 5-day shipping. If you use those methods, Fedex use their own agents to clear the package and there is no cost to you. With other methods, you may need to find an agent and then pay them around $60 to clear the package. There's also the delay in finding just where your package is.
I've bought many times this way from B&H, it works great!

Thank you Mike, I will be arriving to Toronto tomorrow night, so after looking for a while for best prices on the net I found that may be its better to shop in-store, I will be only for a week there so I don't want to have any problems with shippment, customs, taxes, etc.
Will be looking for good prices in Aden Camera, Henrys and Downtown Camera in Toronto.
Cheers!

I would go to each of the stores to see if you could get a good deal... They may not move on the price very much if they are in high demand...
You can also look at Vistek.

I hope that you enjoy Toronto. :D
Take care,
