not a good image for selective color - he's now spooky looking - which, if that's what you're going for, is cool :lol3

:agree Seems like the feel of the shot gets ruined by the B&W and selective color treatment. Seems like it should be colorful since that would reinforce your son's expression.

DOF was a bit too shallow on this one...the blurred hand and burger is a bit distracting to me.

My rule of thumb: convince yourself that you will go to hell if you ever make a selective color image. OK, now if in spite of that , you find that you really really need to make one and are willing to suffer eternal damnation as a result, then OK. You are in the company of the truly passionate artists, the Dostoyevskys, Charly Parkers, and Maplethorpes and you are going to do it and not listen to anyone else and maybe it will be great and horrible all at once and why are you asking us about it anyway.

Else, forget it. It's a trite cliche having a brief moment in the sun and everyone and his brother has to take a whack at it and it can only cheapen your work.

Thanks everyone else fortaking a look at it, and now just to show I like the whipping, I'll whip myself. Looks like I got lazy, and the left bottom corner still shows a hint of orange (original shirt color)
