...consider "Photo a Day" Project.
A lot of fun!
The rules are simple: One picture a day, let's say for a year... See if you can do it!

To be honest, I don't think I could meet the commitment to taking and posting a photo every single day. It sounds like fun, and I think I would grow as a photographer much faster. Just don't think I would make it work.

FWIW, Jim Brandenburg shot his book "Chased by the light" taking exactly one picture a day -no more, no less- for three months, from the autumnal equinox to the winter solstice, while living in the wild. The book is absolutely magnificient, and it was also published as an article by National Geographic Magazine, with the particularity that it was the only time in history that the whole take for an article was actually published.
You can see all images here (http://www.jimbrandenburg.com/gallery/90%20day%20images/chased_by_the_light.html). Warning: it is a very humbling experience! :bow

Book marked, mentally imprinted, and inspired beyond all belief.
Thanks for this Zero-Zero

thanks for the link to Jim Brandenburgs site. Wonderful shots and you are right.. very humbling.
I'm very fortunate to have a good friend whose husband is a photographer. I don't get to see him for help much but his work as been an inspiration to me. He lives ten mins up the road in the woods from me.
You can see his lovely work here http://www.paulrezendes.com/

I didn't know there was a PAD community. Website looks cool, maybe I'll register. I have however been doing my own PAD on my personal website:
