Now that I got my dSLR I realized that les covers do not have a strap to hold them with the camera, and as such are very easy to get lost.
I remember somebody lately was mentioning some device to overcome this problem, but I don't seem to be able to find the post.
Please help!

You can get a stick on keeper, that uses elastic around the lens. That's all I know of.

My advice: don't lose your lenscap. The keeper was just a PITA.

Here. (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?ci=1&sb=ps&pn=1&sq=desc&InitialSearch=yes&O=SearchBar&A=search&Q=*&bhs=t&shs=lens+cap+keeper&image.x=0&image.y=0)

Thanks!
I guess, it's that time again for being a little inventive:-)

Same here. Or I toss it in the bag.

I use the little elastic strap thingy. Well worth the few bucks.

I found it to be fine when I was only using the kit lens, but as soon as I was switching lenses, I stopped using it and relied on my pocket or my camera bag.

Mine goes in my pocket most of the time.... But I put in the camera bag as well.

I'm very conscious of when I remove it and where I put it. I *always* put it in a pocket. That way I always know where to look.

A pocket full of lint, candy bar wrappers (oh sorry I meant Cherry Ripes wrappers!), pens, pencils, coins, etc? I think a pocket is one of the worst places for it!

It's a lens cap, nothing will get in the camera.

Dirt's never the problem. Sweat is. I often have to dry off moisture beads before I put it back on.
