I love your NH shot, Ben. Your GBH needs to change his coat: I think nesting took a lot out of them, they just seem to have lost a lot here in the last few months. And you are right, I see one, it is an OH, HUM thing, kind of.

Of course with our birds just disappearing, and the Green Heron showing up in California, your parts, well I will take what I can.

(I have never knowingly seen an Avocet.)
