SmuMug to sell more RedBubble Stuff !!? BUT CAN I DO "WHAT I DID" ON SMUGMUG ?

Can't we do something like that with the tons of great products available from SmugMug ?

I had never sold anything on RedBubble until I did this and started seeing results, but it bothers me that I have to use a third party and go through a such tedious process when we should be able to do all that straight from SmugMug and using some kind of pre-defined process/template here, no ?

Honestly right now at SmugMug it is very hard to get potential customers to click on the cart since they are not exposed to the kind of stuff they can buy and how the picture would look like on them.

Thanks Baldy. Any time frame you guys have in mind ? I am just thinking if I should go ahead and try to link all my images to RedBubble that way (which is really a pain in the neck to do) or simply wait a bit more for SmugMug to deliver something like that :-) Tks !

allow for a virtual store CLEARLY showing products that can be bought


Products today are hidden and hard to visualize. Why can't we have a homepage layout item that is kind of a virtual store front that clearly shows the way the picture will show up on the offered products, or at least clearly show all the products that can be bought with that picture. I asked about this a long time ago, and have been dreaming & dreaming that we could do that here-- it would just be SO-o-ooo fantastic! Not only can people not even see what products look like with their photo on it here on Smug, they also hardly notice the "other products" thing and there's absolutely nothing interesting to pull them to it... it's just very unfriendly. Even I myself had to go to some other page & do a bunch of research on the sites themselves (EZPrint & Bay Photo) to figure out what sizes & quality some things like magnets were, etc... very frustrating. Having said that though, I truly hope it would be a lot easier to view these things than it is on RedBubble. Even there, you have to put in some code into each description to see what some items will look like, or at least to post them on certain pages. It's hard to get around to all of your works. Here, where people have hundreds of galleries, etc. it needs to be a whole lot more seamless than that. I would just love this so very much. I'll see if I have any votes to free up!
