Hi,
I've tried exporting video directly from Animoto.
I've tried .mov files
I've tried .mp4
I've tried mpeg4 (same as .mp4?)
I got one mpeg 4 vid to load. The video is 1/2 green pixels and horrible quality.
What video format have some of you been successful with. The files I'm trying to load are appx. 100mb. Thank you.

Hi, I exported my test video from animoto yesterday using .mp4 and it worked fine. .mov or .mp4 should work as they re both supported. mpeg4 is the long name version of mp4 and should be the same.
When you are playing back the video and say that you are getting horrible quality, are you trying to view it full screen or at the native sizes produced by Animoto? Please send me a link to the video as I would like to see what is happening.

My MP4 that looks horrible at home, looks good from my work computer.
Both computers have broad band connections, so I don't know what is going on.
The funny think is my home computer is an i7 processor with 9 gig of ram.
My work computer is an old P4 with 1 gig ram.
So it sounds like the issue might be my computer or network connection?

The whole issue must be something on my computer.
My MP4 files play just fine on remote computers and smugmug. I've tried 3 different ones and they all show my mp4 video just fine.
Why it doesn't work on my home PC I don't know. I actually have a much faster computer than the others and a faster internet connection.
Are there any issues with windows 7 and smugmug/video?

It's something to do with my monitor or video card. I made the screen smaller and it runs fine. So MP4 and making the viewing screen maybe 20% smaller and the video works.
thanks.

Glad to hear it worked out. Since you're exporting videos to SmugMug from Animoto, thought you'd like to know we now have hi-res exportation. Let us know if you have any other questions/issues.
