I know sun flowers have been done over and over but they are so easy to find around my house that I couldn't resist. All taken with the 70-200. I tried using RAW to shoot these. This is my first time using RAW and now I can see why everybody raves about. The control it gives you in PP is great:thumb

Hope you enjoy these:clap

Honest C&C always appreciated.

Thanks,

Sunflowers haven't been done over and over like your first shot, it is great, looks almost alive, like a little Triffid covering its face with its paws, kind of. You're lucky Susan, at our new home we are almost totally in shade of big trees, can't grow sunflorwers or tomatoes.

Thanks Ben.

The last one is my favorite of the day. When you see it bigger the colors make it look like a painting.

Very nice, great colors. A good beginning with RAW. That's all I shoot now.

These pics were taken in some really harsh light. I took some regular Jpegs to campare to the RAW and the Jpegs weren't even worth trying to save. Completely washed out.
