I had a go with my new lens tonight it was a bit dark had it set on ISO 400, i will have to practice more when it is lighter (Canon 70-200 F4L)

Looks like you are off to a good start with your new lens. Enjoy it and keep on posting your shots so we can see how you progress with it.

Thanks Harry & Bfjr got a lot to learn to catch up to you guys only been into photography for about 6 months and only had DSLR for 2 weeks, going to practice again tonight and Monday i am going to a local pub called the Royal Oak , every year they have an open air music festival with about 20 bands and real ale i will see what i can do with the new lens
One more question does this lens work well with the 1.4x converter ?

Don't know Jack about Canon gear, it is Canon right ??
But I can tell you about Ale and shooting to much Ale and that will definitely effect your shooting :D :1drink
