I ignorantly reformatted a CF card and lost some images. Is there any way to recover them at all? And if so is there any way to do it without payign someone a bunch of money? :cry

There's plenty of free software on the web that might help recover your pictures. Just google CF recovery software and you should find trialware for that. There's also planty of threads here about the subject to search.
