Peeps!

I'm shooting MotoGP at Philip Island in october and the hotel I had booked just dumped me, so if anyone has any local knowledge, or knows somewhere to stay on the island...

I'll love you forever (and if you live there, maybe a quick seminar might come your way...)

Andrew :)

If you don't get anything here, try over on advrider--in the Upcoming
Events Forum.

Oh, loadedpalooza would be a lot of fun. It is in Canada but the wrong
coast :D

We are about two hours away, quite useless - you'll need to stay closer because traffic on the access road can be at a stand-still on race days. Humungus is right about our weather, it can go from very hot to very cold on the same day, quick changes. Are you working anywhere else while you are here - there should be some horse shows on in October.

...i used to do night guard duty on those huge guns sitting down there overlooking the straight.

That weather down there can change from sunny & beautiful to flamin' horrible/wet & cold in 30 mins flat.

Thunderbirds are GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We've found a house, all to myself, in Cowes even with all the breakfast kit included.

6 nights. $1000 AUD.

Next up, get the flight, rent the car, buy a didgereedoo, buy a hat with dangling corks and learn a few Rolf Harris songs...

Waltzing Mathilda regards...

My daughters favorite. All I thought I knew about Oz music was that Bic Runga and The Living End are/were/used to be popular :rofl now I know what *really* moves you people :D (as in: passing by :wink)
Note: we've got a similar type of song :D
