My first pano

Am kind of pleased with my first attempt to stitch multiple photos.

I'd say it worked out pretty well, love the shot. I can't see where it was stitched. You decided to try your first one with a really tough subject. Cloud and water movement really make this one a challenge:thumb.
After closer look, it looks like this was a 3 shot pano. What program did you use? My eyes keep gravitating to the area where the left horizon slopes into the water. Looks like a possible seam, but hard to say though:dunno. Cool shot.

I missed an absolutely beautiful sunset over Lake Tahoe last Sunday. Coming back from the Bay area on my motorcycle, I was in a hurry to get down the mountain before total darkness. The skys had gone to a wonderful shade of purple with light, fluffy clouds overhead. Maybe next time. Your shot reminded me of what I missed in the camera, but got with my eyes.

And you should be pleased, it's a wonderful shot well stitched together.

Thnxs Chris, this was actually 5 shots stitched together with PS CS2's merge option with advanced blending. I had no idea what I was doing and just kind of played around with it a bit, it is fairly easy to use.

I think the shot is great and I haven't tried pano yet so I can't crit that very well. Does look like somethings a bit off to the right of the tree line. Overall beautiful shot. Part of me wishes the horizon wasn't nearly dead center. Either more sky or more water. Just enough to offset the centered-ness of it. Just me though.
