old minolta

i ask this for a friend , not myself ,
she has a minolta dynax 500 si (film version)
also has lenses
af zoom 35-70 ? and
af zoom 70-210 1:1 macro ?

now she wants a digital camera , but keep the lenses
does anyone knows which camera's are compatible ?

I personally have a Sony 350 and brought those lenses over from a Minolta 9000. And then went out and added a couple of a new wide angle and longer telephoto, cuz I felt the need the spend. She will find good results with those lenses and a good Sony DSLR body.

Not sure where you're located but so that she feels okay, have her bring the lenses into a camera store and let her try them out. Yes, any dslr that is a Sony.
