View Full Version : Newbie can't see uploaded videos

I am new to SmugMug and having issues with uploading video files. I have successfully uploaded pictures, so I think I am following the correct process, though when I do the same for videos, I don't see the same result.

I drop in a .mov file into the area for uploading, and then click on upload. I see the progress bar moving from 0 to 100% and then I click on done. However, when I go to the gallery, I don't see anything.

Any help would be appreciated!

Give it a few minutes. Some of my larger videos have taken 2-3 minutes to show up at all.

Right. After a video is uploaded, you may not see it processing in the gallery or even in your upload log (in your Control Panel 'Stats' tab) for several minutes.

In my experience it's more than several minutes. Sometimes it takes 30-60 minutes for a video to be available in the gallery.

its more than that. ive tried loading WMV files via drag dorp and they show 100% but never, not even by the next day, show up.
could it be a image/video size?

If the video never shows up in your gallery, there's some incompatibility with it and our system or it could possibly be a resolution issue. Could you write us at the helpdesk? We will look into your account and may need to ask you to send us the video direct so that we can examine it.
