Does anybody know where I can get a photo book printed at, at least 300dpi?
I just had one printed from Blurb. It looks like it was printed at 90dpi,the quality is very poor. But perhaps I was expecting too much at a cost of $40 US per book. I am not to concerned with the cost, I would just like a hard covered book in which I would feel comfortable giving to a client.
Thank you.

Lots of better solutions exist than Blurb. And this topic has been discussed a lot here on DGrin. A search should bring up a lot of options, but two I'm fond of are Asuka Book and Pounds Photo Labs.

http://www.poundslabs.com/ <--- they also partner with www.forbeyon.com

also check out Miller's and WHCC press printed books, much higher quality than Blurb at very comparable cost.

Thanks urbanaries! I was wondering about WHCC and the quality.

Thanks urbanaries! I was wondering about WHCC and the quality.

I have actually been more pleased with the paper quality of Miller's, in many cases for less money, FWIW.
