Help Please - Nav Bar

I did post this in the right thread, as there was no response I am trying again here.

Hello - I am trying to follow Ivar's instructions for a banner and a nav bar - thank you Ivar for taking the time to write and post this helpful tutorial.
I managed the banner okay and now trying for a nav bar.
First question is - it says to add coding to the CSS in the Control Panel - I know this is basic but I have already added coding in there when I added my banner. Do I add the Nav bar coding before or after the banner coding.

It doesn't matter whether the navbar CSS code goes before or after the banner CSS code.
