Awesome eyes obviously...

Sun from the left of shot, so I asume a bounce from the right? Beautiful lighting, let me know what you did. Was it natural light?

Sun from the left of shot, so I asume a bounce from the right? Beautiful lighting, let me know what you did. Was it natural light? Sun was coming down from picture left. The reflector was held directly in front of me angled upwards towards the model (who was kneeling). She was looking into the camera. Hence the low set rectangular catchlights. It really helped to illuminate her eyes and face. I used a piece of cardboard covered in tinfoil, mainly because I'm cheap and poor, which worked well. I think for my next shoot I will use foamcore. I took about 6 pictures in the same position and this was the one where both the model and I nailed everything; pose, lighting, focus.

Love those eyes. Beautiful model and a pleasing photo. Only thing I see, which is a nothing really, is her left pinkie poking into her chin. Would a crop from the bottom of the frame to remove the gap under her left shoulder be of any benefit???

Really, what can you say. The picture was well take but holy cow the eyes!
The eyes and the color of the hair work nice together.
I wouldn't mind if you just cut the bottom of the picture off or if you do it again just focus in on the face. Getting rid of the hands and such. But that's because I love faces so much and this sure is a nice one.
This is an awesome picture!
One question- are those really her eyes? I'm very jealous.

Of course her eyes were touched up, but that's the magic of digital photography. :)

Her eyes are blue, of course, but I did asjust the saturation. The reason they appear to "pop" is because I created a duplicate "multiply" layer and then blurred it to 2.0, then erased the eyes (otherwise they get a bit dulled). Then I upped the contrast to +20, so the whites really stand out! When you play with the saturation in the eyes the green/yellow tends to turn a bit red so I adjusted the eyes in the color balance, reducing the reds and yellows significantly.

I agree - lovely model, night lighting job. I might suggest a larger aperture for a more smooth, OOF, bokeh of the trees in the background. And crop the lower portion of the frame to remove the hotspot under her left shoulder.

Very nice glamour shot.
