Oooooo... I really like this. Looking at it I have a spooky feeling. The mist reminds me of an old classic monster movie. The light in the distance adds an air of mystery - "What's out there?" The comp works well for me. The large tree on the right appears to be reaching over the water for something. Nice contrast, good exposure.

Niggle: it looks like there is something man-made right there dead center (one of the charcoal grills you'd find in a public park?). Perhaps that could be cloned out.

Not much to whip you for, DF. :cry :evil The thing that gets my attention is the depth in the shot, really pulls me in. The light and shadows and the mist create a wonderful atmosphere. Good reflections. Nice post. Strong stuff.

The softness of the backdrop due to the mist while at the same token, the crsipness of the leading details. WOW

Very nice

I'll add my voice to everybody else's and say that there's not much to whip here. Very good indeeed.

If you're into photoshop you could try to brighten the bottom rand hand corner, but that's a minor niggle.

yeah, I see your point for sure. I'll see if I can successfully dodge that out (although, I don't always have the best luck with that in PS. Seems like doing it in the darkroom for real was easier, LOL).

thanks for all the replies!
