Red River Gorge, early morning...

I was out early yesterday morning in the Red River Gorge (Kentucky), instead of hiking in the valleys, as in my previous series of shots (Wild & Scenic River) I headed to the ridge tops for the sunrise...

Hey... finally... at last... we got a little rain the night before!!!

I love the quality of the mist and the subdued tones..

And the one with ferns and rays of sunlight great :clap

We still haven't received any rain to speak of ...today it did rain but didn't even get the ground wet at my house
Hope we get some soom everything here is dead :hung

Down here, we had another storm this morning around 10:30AM, lasted about 30 minutes, maybe had another 3/4" of rain. About the same as Saturday evening.:D I may have to mow the lawn in a couple of days.
