My wife and I are getting closer. Hopefully our Studio/Gallery will be set up by Mid-summer. Does anyone here currently run a studio? I'm looking at setting up a computerized cash register system. That way it will keep track of inventory for me, as well as my sales, and when possible, consingments for other artists. The only system I could find right now is by Intuit. What do you all use?

I run one, and a year ago opened a dedicated gallery space in it. I dont have a computerized cash register sytem to manage inventory to date. I looked at them a bit and could not justify the expense at this point. I only have 100 or so small images available at any one time, all either 8 x 10 or 11 x 14's. These are all dsiplayed on a display wall. I have another 6 large walls available for larger limited edition prints. My re-stocking is pretty easy... when one sells and there is an empty slot, I replenish it with the same same image, or a new one....lol..pretty basic...for me anyways. If it gets any crazier in the future, I will re-visit the idea.
