I just got my new 100mm f/2.8 macro from jeff lapoint and I love it. Here are a couple shots I took at a family birthday party on Sunday.

I know the last one is oof but I thought it was funny so I put it up.

What do you think? These are some of the first portrait type shots I have taken so any critiques are welcome.

BTW I love this lens soo far, I may have to get more Primes. Now I just need to find some bugs to use it on.

Good to know you like the lens, I especially like the portrait of your grandpa. He has a great look!

Thanks marlof :D .

I like the picture too because he is hard to get pictures of so I have to get them when he's not paying attention. Does anyone think they are too dark?

The last two are dark, and would improve by setting black and white points in levels.

XO,
Ya know I actually did that in the first one but wasn't sure if I needed it in the others. I'll give it a try and see how it looks. Thanks for the input XO.
