I just sold my 10D and realized this won't work on the XT. Bummer, now I have to buy another one. :wxwax
Anyway, its a made in China clone of the Canon RS-80N3. Works on 10D and all similar EOS cameras. Never understood why the Canon original one (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist&A=details&Q=&sku=164276&is=REG&addedTroughType=search) was so expensive, just a button and a cord?
:scratch
This one works just fine, I barely used it, and can be yours for the price of $10 plus any shipping/paypal fees.

Do you know if this works with the 20D? I would love to have one of these.

Do you know if this works with the 20D? I would love to have one of these.Don't think so, this is the older style plug. I think the 20D uses the same thing my XT does - more of a pin connector (like earphones).
Just open up the little cover on the 20D, you'll know immediately.

I love answering my own threads (a theme this weekend :lol3)
don't listen to that Doctorit guy, he's a quack! Check the B&H link to the Canon version (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist&A=details&Q=&sku=164276&is=REG&addedTroughType=search) of this remote. Clearly states it DOES work on the 20D as well. Guess the pin connector is just a Rebel thing.
So can I call it sold? :deal

I have one of these that looks exactly the same. I used it originally on my 10D and since have upgraded to a 20D. It works there also, but I found that I have to make sure it is pushed in extra hard and that I plug it in prior to turning on the 20D. I just thought I'd throw that out in case anyone is interested or has a problem with this type of third-party release (but it does work well)!
BTW - That's a great price. Good luck!
