Which would have better performance s 7,200RPM USB 2.0 or 5,400RPM eSATA?

I basically keep my main drive for just programs so this will have all my photos/photoshop files.

I don't think the comparative rotational speeds of the drives will be a factor, but no doubt an expert can do the maths and elaborate/corroborate my intuition that's it's no contest. :dunno
