so i bought this
http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/31jdToSM4aL._SL500_AA300_.jpg

the issue is that my sb600 doesnt have any sort of input, just through radio waves i guess. The cheapy unit i bought needs to be directly connected to the flash so it can work wirelessly from the camera. What i need is an adapter to get the PC or AUX cord converted to hotshoe to send the signal to the flash

point: I want to wirelessly trigger my flash (sb600) from my nikon d5000 and i have that kit above

thanks ! :thumb

You need a Hot Shoe Adapter like the one listed below.I use one with the same wireless trigger that you have on a SB600.

upon further (less upset) inspection, the receiver does have a female PC adapter but i need a male AUX looking (like headphone jack) hotshoe adapter for the flash..

Sorry about that. :hide I replied too quickly without thinking. You also need a short Male PC to Male PC Sync Cord like this. (http://www.flashzebra.com/short_pc_sync/0052.shtml) It plugs into the hot shoe adapter & the wireless receiver. Your flash attach's to the hot shoe adapter. Hope this helps.
