A Little Rain, Please?

As I mentioned in another post, we've been experiencing a long drought and days above 90 degrees F for 2 months now...
I was in my backyard earlier today and noticed this sunflower. It looks like the weather has taken it's toll and almost appears to be pleading for some relief.:D

I love sunflowers! It is probably still there, would be interesting to see the whole thing? (I know this isn't the whip post, it just struck me).

Also, when I logged on (am on my daughter's computer) the whole site looked green, she said not, but then the sunflower looks to have a greenish cast. That could be this monitor or my eyes, whatever.

As I said I love sunflowers. I hope it rains for you and the flower! Meanwhile, maybe you could give it a drink.http://dgrin.com/images/smilies/icon10.gif
