I think it's great - what a pose! what an expression!
Don't clean the concrete - it's much more 'real' this way (and it's not distracting at all)
The only thing I might recommend is to try to lighten the pigeon's feathers in the front to bring up some of the detail.
But overall it's really great - well done!

yeah - it is a bit gray now.. I like the contrast of the first one better.

I tried to play with it myself by using a mask and just lightening that one area.. I attached it below. (it's such a subtle change - I don't know if what I did really makes a difference!:dunno)
