I'm hoping someone here might know what bush this is? :scratch :dunno

Also if I can prune it and replant it in the fall.
I'm in upstate NY if that helps.

Quite sure it's a domestic bush and not wild.

Thanx for any input you may have about it.

Looks like a petunia to me. Nice caps.

It's a Hibiscus syriacus

I think maybe the common name is Rose of Sharon???
